A: Back in the early 1800's a gentleman by the
name of Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician, became known for his medicinal
formulas which were based on the premise that "like cures like." That is, if
a plant brought about certain symptoms in the body, sweating, active thirst,
splotchy skin, then that plant would be able to "teach" the body to resist
these same symptoms.
Q: Why do homeopathic medicines contain alcohol?
A: Homeopathic medicines use natural alcohol as a preservative, and as a means of naturally helping to protect the ingredients from contamination. In addition, it helps maximize absorption in the body.
Please note: If you have a known allergy to alcohol, do not take any homeopathic medicine.
Q: If I'm taking other medications, can I also use homeopathic medicines?
A: We advise you to first consult with your primary care provider, before adding homeopathic medication regimen.
